A tornado ripped through the Tahoe home of one of the Tesla Model S owners on Saturday, injuring three people.
The roof and trunk of the home were torn off, with pieces of the roof and roof deck torn off and torn out of the vehicle’s trunk, Tesla said in a statement.
One of the victims, a 55-year-old man, suffered minor injuries to his head, according to Tesla.
The other two victims, ages 36 and 38, were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tesla said the roof of the damaged home was replaced and the roof deck was repaired and installed.
Tesla reported the roof was partially damaged but otherwise the home is back to normal.
Tesla is working to repair all of the damage and restore the home to normal operating status, according the company.
